How to cancel Evernote
Updated June 2026 · Productivity · typically £10.83/month (£129.96/year)
Cancel Evernote on the web
- Go to the Evernote account settings and sign in with the email you used to subscribe.
- Open the membership, plan or billing section of your account.
- Select Cancel (sometimes hidden behind "Change plan" or "Manage subscription") and follow the confirmation steps — Evernote may offer you a pause or a discount first.
- Save the confirmation email or take a screenshot. If you're charged again later, that's your evidence for a refund.
Subscribed through the App Store?
If you pay for Evernote through Apple, the cancel button won't appear on the website. Instead: open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → choose Evernote → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
⏳ Cancel before the renewal date. Most services bill at the start of each cycle and don't refund partial periods — you keep access until the period ends, so there's no benefit to waiting.
What happens after you cancel
- Access usually continues until the end of your current billing period.
- Your account and history typically survive, so resubscribing later is easy.
- Watch your bank statement next month — if Evernote still charges you, reply to the confirmation email and request a refund.
Stop forgetting subscriptions like this one
The average household wastes hundreds of pounds a year on subscriptions they meant to cancel. A subscription tracker shows everything you pay for in one place and reminds you before each renewal — so the decision to keep or cancel is always yours.
